Friday, February 13th our students found themselves back in time as Whispering Pines Baptist Church allowed us to come and serve them during their monthly luncheon dubbed “The Filling Station”

The sweet saints at WPBC allowed this lunch to be a fund raising event for our Mission: Haiti trip coming up in April.
We dressed up like filling station attendants and went back in time as we read off facts and trivia from back in the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s.

Then the fun got started! Each of our students waited on a table of senior saints who ordered from a “menu” that included brake fluid and mufflers and torque wrenches and a transmission flush, etc… No one knew what they were ordering!
Some would get a side salad a baked potato and a knife for one course and another may get fruit salad and a napkin. It was a lot of fun and they helped us move ever closer to our Mission: Haiti goal.

To Whispering Pines Baptist Church, THANK YOU.
Thanks for letting us serve and for blessing us in so many ways.
Signing out,
Cameron Sandel

Oh no I can’t click on any of the pictures! Is there a way to see some bigger (and possibly save it for myself)?
